Select BASIC , REFRESHER ,or EXPERIENCED Rider Course ... or the Basic Rider Course on a SCOOTER.

Register for the BASIC Rider Course ($275)

For Beginners and re-entry riders.  Students must be able to ride a pedal bicycle as a pre-requisite.  Pass the course, get your license (if you would like to get your license as a result of passing the Basic Rider Course, you must provide a photocopy of your permit on the first day of class).  The course is completed in 2 consecutive days.  Streetwise Cycle School provides the motorcycles (and helmets if needed).

Register for the REFRESHER Rider Course  ($175)

For Students who have passed the Basic Rider Course, but have not had an opportunity to ride enough to be confident.  This is an opportunity to take the Basic Rider Course again for $100 less than the Basic Rider Course.  Streetwise Cycle School provides the motorcycles (and helmets if needed).  You can either participate in the classroom and the riding instruction or just the riding instruction.  Note: You must provide a photocopy of your Basic Rider Course completion card and your permit or license at beginning of course.

Register for the EXPERIENCED Rider Course ($150)

For Experienced motorcyclists who possess basic rider skills.  Typically, these basic rider skills are obtained with at least 1,000 miles of riding experience or through skillfully passing the Basic Rider Course.  If you would like to get your license as a result of passing the Experienced Rider Course, you must provide a photocopy of your permit at the beginning of class.  The course is completed in one day.  Students are responsible for providing their own registered, insured, and inspected motorcycle.

Register for the Basic Rider Course using one of our SCOOTERS  ($275)

This course is for people who are interested in the Basic Rider Course, but they would prefer to ride a scooter rather than a motorcycle.  Riding a SCOOTER is a fun, non-intimidating introduction to 2-wheeled motor sports.  The only pre-requisite is that you are able ride a pedal bicycle and that you have a driver's license or permit.  Streetwise Cycle School provides the scooters (and helmets if needed).  You will not receive your motorcycle license when you complete the Basic Rider Course on a SCOOTER.  If you would like to get your motorcycle license after passing the Basic Rider Course on a SCOOTER, you can follow up by taking a second course: either the Refresher Rider Course on one of our motorcycles or the Experienced Rider Course on your own scooter that is registered, insured, and inspected as a motorcycle.

In the Basic Rider Course using one of our scooters, you will receive 10 hours of on-scooter and 5 hours of classroom instruction.  Please note that you will be riding along with other students on motorcycles.  The course will include instruction on shifting for the motorcyclists in the group even though this will not apply to you on the automatic transmission scooter.
